For several months, the supply situation for Optibelt products has been subject to significant fluctuations and developments
are more predictable. While we were initially concerned with the pandemic itself, it is now its
consequences as well as government decisions that have direct and indirect effects on international markets and
nationals. Added to this are the recent new challenges within the supply chain due to the triggering
of the Russo-Ukrainian war in February of this year.
We have already pointed out in our last letter that price adjustments are linked to market developments;
unfortunately the trend is still upwards and the costs continue unabated. This was confirmed again these
recent months to an unprecedented extent. At the same time, we also receive price increases from
our suppliers of raw materials, energy and logistics which will lead to new financial charges
extraordinary for our products.
The items mentioned above and the associated significant price increases in our supply chains
mean that we have to pass some of this on to our sales products. You have understood it, unfortunately, it does not
It is no longer possible for us to maintain the original prices of our products in the face of these new disturbances.
Therefore, for all sales prices of the following product groups the price will be adjusted linearly by +10.5%.
The new Optibelt pricing will be valid from 01 June 2022.
- Rubber and PU products (Industry/Automotive/Agro+L&G)
- Metal products
- Maintenance Equipment (Tools)
Please note the following additional regulations in connection with the price adjustment:
- For all new orders placed before May 31 and delivered after June 1, 2022, the new prices
will already apply. You will receive a new confirmation of your order regarding the price after June 01
2022.
- The new prices will also apply to existing call-out orders from June 1, 2022.
- The material surcharge on metal products (applicable since August 16, 2021) will be transferred to the new
standard price list of metals within the framework of the ongoing price adjustment.
