SCHAEFFLER - Tariff adjustments applicable from 01/05/2022

mardi 5 avril 2022

In recent months, the entire industrial sector has been faced with substantial
cost increases. The evolution of steel prices, which is particularly strong in 2021,
led to several rate adjustments last year and early this year.
This negative trend has continued in recent weeks and affects all factors
affecting our production including steel, scrap and other metals, logistics,
energy, etc. The result is a dramatic increase in production costs and
we do not expect any reversal of this trend in the short term.

The war in Ukraine, which is above all a human tragedy, is another factor which makes
fluctuate costs and forced to seek sources of supply
alternatives for some of our raw materials.
For these reasons, Schaeffler is forced to proceed with a tariff increase of 9.2%
on average from May 1, 2022. This adjustment will apply to all new
orders placed after May 1, 2022, as well as the entire order book
with a desired delivery date after May 1, 2022.
